Today was my first Obstetric appointment! Dr. Cochoran is a little old fashioned, but he puts me at ease. When he walked in the room, I asked him if the pregnancy test they took was positive (even though I had 5 positive home pregnancy tests and a positive blood test at urgent medical care the previous Sunday (August 30, 2009!). So when he said of course, then examined my uterus to tell me that I was "definitely more than six weeks, but less than nine," it finally set in. Rob and I are going to have a baby!! It's unbelievable news, especially after being told that I would never conceive naturally. This baby is a miracle, and I am so excited for the months ahead! I'm already in maternity clothes!
